an advice column for neuroqueer, neurocurious existentialist philosophers
Hi all,
A lot has shapeshifted in my little world since last I wrote. As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve changed the name of my publication to Fang Girl Chronicles from Fae Wolfe (though Fae Wolfe remains the name of my business).
For some time now I’ve felt hedged in and overexposed. Since leaving Instagram (it has officially been a year as I write this) I’ve been going inward, attempting to figure out how I want to show up (if at all). I now know that I do wish to show up, but the operative word is sustainably - I wish to show up sustainably - but realistically, what does that mean? Well, for me it means de-centring myself from published narratives. I have a lot to write about, and of course what comes through the writer is their own experience, regardless of its shape - but I’m much more interested in YOU. Your experiences, your journeys, your questions, your explorations, your existential curiosities.
Fang Girl Chronicles is an homage to what’s deeply feral and untouched by patriarchy, ableism, colonialism, capitalism, hierarchies, neuronormativity and heteronormativity.
About the name: I have always had very prominent eye teeth. If ever I wished to be a vampire for Halloween (or IRL!) I would not need prosthetics. I’ve never met anyone else with the same massive sharp fangs. I now know that this was the only physically visible sign of a great and vast wilderness that has always been within me. With my Scorpio and 8th house stelliums, I’ve known where the red door to the Underworld is, and I travel there often. As a highly-masked, undiagnosed AuDHD woman, my journeys have been bursting with passion, extreme highs and lows, feeling adrift in vast and unknown seas, only to return to myself and the eternal time and again. These explorations have afforded me a unique lens upon the world, and I’d like to offer that lens to you.
Introducing: 𝒟ℯ𝒶𝓇 𝒱ℴ𝒾𝒹 - an advice column for the neuroqueer, neurocurious existentialist philosophers.

So - what questions do you have for me?
If you have a question, I’ll be happy to explore it. This will be a safe space for us to be curious about these most poignant adventures in life.
Rules for sending questions:
𓇢𓆸 It should go without saying, but please be respectful. 𓇢𓆸
𓇢𓆸 You have every right to remain anonymous. I will never publish your name unless you want me to. 𓇢𓆸
𓇢𓆸 I cannot and will not answer questions related to physical or mental health diagnoses. 𓇢𓆸
𓇢𓆸 This column will be for advice, not professional guidance. For that, please see a licensed mental health practitioner. 𓇢𓆸
For the first several months, this column will be free and open to the public. But after that, all issues will be behind a paywall to protect the energy of myself and the people who are sending their inquiries.
I look forward to this new journey. If for some reason the question box is not working, reply to this email with your question.
Love and wolves,
D xx

Two other questions that have come in the Ask Box on Tumblr so far:
1. How do you give yourself grace on the days where you are beyond broken (meltdowns in public) and still have to care for others. This is the hardest. Thank you❣️
2. Hi Devany, I think you're doing amazing work and I respect your devotion to your boundaries. My question is, how do you stay solid in saying NO to things that aren't right for you, especially when you've been masking and a people-pleaser for such a long time? Thank you!
What a great project and space you're creating, I love it! Can we ask questions only on tumblr or can we do it here too? 🐺🖤
